Lokahi means Unity or Oneness in Hawaiian. We chose the name Lokahi Farm as a reminder of the essential interconnectedness of all life.

Dhiana and Taj met several years ago while swimming with dolphins in the Caribbean. Our love for Hawaii and shared vision for community led us to this little Garden of Eden in South Kona where we now steward three acres planted in coffee, Macadamia nuts, cacao, and three hundred different kinds of tropical fruit, nuts, spices and medicinal herbs. Most of the trees were planted by our predecessor, a practicing Zen Buddhist.

The world’s best coffee is grown here in South Kona, but Lokahi Farm coffee receives extra special care. We chant or meditate as we hand pick the ripest berries. We do most of the picking, pulping, and drying ourselves in small batches, hand picking the best beans each step of the way. Most of our coffee is shade grown. We use no chemical pesticides and only natural fertilizers.
